Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) & Direct Entry
Pacific Coastal College of Massage Therapy (PCCMT) does not offer Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) or direct/mid-stream entry into the Massage Therapy program.
Due to the structured and cumulative nature of our blended learning model, as well as the progressive development of practical and academic competencies, all students must enter the program through a scheduled intake and complete the full curriculum in sequence.
Enrollment into the program is only permitted at the beginning of an intake. Students cannot transfer into, test out of, or receive advanced standing for any portion of the program, regardless of prior education, training, or experience.
This policy ensures that all students receive a consistent and comprehensive educational experience, promotes the highest standards of safety within clinical practice, and preserves full compliance with accreditation bodies and regulatory authorities.
