Program Details

Year 1 Program

Program Length: 8 months

Availability: Weekends (one weekend per month)

Students learn the basics of relaxation massage and a variety of Swedish Massage techniques. Massage Therapy students are introduced to anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and hydrotherapy. After the fourth module, students practice on real clients in our student clinics.

Year 2 Program

Prerequisites: Year 1 Program

The Year 2 program at PCCMT is after successful completion of Year 1 at PCCMT

Mid-program transfer into PCCMT is not eligible at this time.


Program Length: 10 months

Availability: Weekends (one weekend per month)

Massage Therapy Students learn deep tissue massage, fascia release, facilitated exercises, history taking, orthopaedic assessments and treatment of pathologies of the entire musculoskeletal system.

Direct Entry:

Missing Hours: If you are needing additional education to earn a Massage Therapy diploma PCCMT can help you. Our flexible program fits around your life! Direct entry to the Year 2 program is available in January, April and September each year to students who qualify. Contact us to learn more!

Switching Schools: Students who have completed a Year 1 Program at another institution may be eligible to enter directly into Year 2 at PCCMT – contact us to learn more! Our PCCMT campus is located in Vancouver, BC.
