Registered Massage for Thrive Physiotherapy Ltd.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to help clients improve their health through personalized massage techniques in a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue, and other modalities
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices
Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress in compliance with privacy regulations
Ensure excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client inquiries or concerns professionally
Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and service quality

Qualifications:

Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations
Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client needs clearly
Prior experience in a wellness or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
